We are delighted to be hosting member only Technical visits to our U.K. affiliate Johnson Cleaners.

Who is it for?  The great thing about this event is that whether previous attendees are recent graduates or whether they’ve been in the business for 10+ years, they usually come away wowed and amazed by what they experience on the day!  

What you will learn…  You will get an insight into the dry-cleaning industry from the best-known dry cleaner in the U.K.  You get an understanding of the industry history and get to hear about the latest technologies, as well as seeing how their specialist centre operates; whether it’s seeing how fabric testing works or how leather items can be restored. 

What the visit will involve:

• The Fabric Technology Centre
• Garment Restoration and Rectification
• Wet cleaning
• Dry Cleaning including sustainable GreenEarth Dry-cleaning
• Suede and Leather/ Ugg boot cleaning
• Duvet Cleaning
• Wedding Dress Cleaning

Places are limited (8 per session max). The visit is being hosted by GreenEarth Cleaning Sustainability Director, and ASBCI Vice Chair Garry Knox.
