An unacceptable reality cripples millions of people all over the world. A reality that the vast majority of us cannot even comprehend, nonetheless relate. Lacking access to a basic life necessity, safe water and sanitation, is a reality millions of people are struggling with everyday. That is why GreenEarth Cleaning is doing everything we can to address this issue and contribute to turning this reality into a thing of the past.
Water.Org is a wonderful organization that has succeeded and will continue to succeed in providing clean water and sanitation to millions of people all over the world. Over the past year GreenEarth Cleaning has collected donations through our website, sold Water.Org t-shirts, and organized 2 fundraisers.
Our most recent fundraiser was this past Saturday in Shawnee, KS. We had a great turnout and raised $600 to add to the GreenEarth Network’s contributions to Water.Org. Everyone who came out had a fantastic time and were very pleased to be able to support this great cause. We had some excellent prizes to raffle off, thanks to so many gracious donations from Bread & Butter Concepts, PB & J Restaurant Group, Jazz, A Louisiana Kitchen, Martin City Brewery, Anna’s Oven, Avenue Bistro, Michael Forbes Bar & Grille, Ragazza’s Food & Wine, and The Corner Restaurant.
At this point in time we have raised over $1700. Every $25 that is donated provides safe water and sanitation for 1 person’s life. This year the GreenEarth Network has provided safe water to more than 68 people. We will continue our efforts to raise funds and awareness for Water.Org in 2017.
